about me

Hi! My name is Julianna and I am a 25-year-old student from Germany. When a friend from Australia visited me in my hometown, we realized together how much more intense and unexpected trips can become when you know a local who can show you their country and culture.

Being “in sync” with the people, the culture, and the nature of the country lets you experience deeper connections and form unforgettable memories.  This is how the idea for this blog was born. Here I would like to record my encounters, fascinating places, and delicious recipes I find during my travels and share them with you. The recipes are all from locals and also the one or other travel site shared will be an insider tip.

Since analog photography has always been a big passion of mine, most pictures on this website will be shot analog. I hope the blog can serve as a virtual travel diary and cookbook for me, but if some of you would like to join me in this journey, I’d be honored!

Alongside authentic recipes, you will find travel inspiration, tips for analog photography, and more, so stay tuned!

Sending you much love

The Journey So Far

The blog was created in early 2022, shortly before my graduation. Since then I was able to see and share a lot with you. I am happy and grateful for every new encounter, journey and experience.
